Welcome! I'm Sara Drozdowski, a music educator and recent graduate of James Madison University. I graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education and will be the Director of Bands and Guitar for Amelia County Middle and High School in Amelia County, VA beginning the 2024-2025 school year!

 

At JMU, I was a member of and held staff/officer positions for the Marching Royal Dukes, Flute Club, Middle School Lab Band, and Phi Buda Ruda, a national percussion fraternity.

My core beliefs in education are advocating for sufficient mental health resources, promoting a culture of empathy and inclusion, and prioritizing personal growth and emotional awareness--both inside and outside the classroom.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time in nature, crocheting and jewelry-making, thrifting, and playing with my three cats Emmy, Tony, and CJ!
